Our History
Emerald Advisors & Consultants is made up of experienced professionals dedicated to helping enterprises make smart financial decisions that will improve their impact on the environment, grow their business, and lead to greater awareness of their company’s green efforts.
Our consultants met at Columbia University as students in its rigorous Sustainability Management Masters of Science Program. In their classes together, it was clear they would make a solid group based on their range of experience, areas of expertise, and professional strengths. Working in tandem since May of 2012, our team has developed a strong knowledge base in sustainability metrics, cost-benefit analysis, sustainable land-use, water management, energy efficient processes, waste management and reuse, infrastructure planning, and environmental accreditation policies.
No team is complete without superior counsel therefore we work with exceptional advisors to provide just that. Emerald’s advisors bring specific and complex understanding of their fields to our approach, moving us beyond the typical team of consultants.
